Follow The Republic:

Columbus Police narcotics detectives arrested Pamela J. Smith, 58, of Columbus Tuesday as a result of a year-long drug investigation.

Smith was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in the 2200 block of Hawcreek Avenue on a warrant out of Bartholomew County for two counts of dealing in cocaine, as Class B felonies, Columbus Police Department spokesman Lt. Matt Myers said.

Smith is accused of selling crack cocaine to undercover police officers on multiple occasions over the past year, Myers said.

Narcotics detectives credit tips from area residents in making this alleged drug dealer known to them. Information on suspected drug dealers can be give to police anonymously by calling at 376-2600.
