A Hope man was arrested Sunday after allegedly cutting three teenagers with a knife. No one was seriously injured, according to Major Todd Noblitt of the Bartholomew Count Sheriff’s Department.

Randel K. Rose, 45, was being held on $25,000 bond in Bartholomew County jail and faces a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon.

Noblitt said witnesses told officers from the Sheriff’s Department and Hope Police Dept. that Rose became belligerent and threatened the teens while at a swimming party.

Rose was taken into custody without incident in the 14000 block of State Road 9 near Hope. Officers were interviewing witnesses Sunday as they continued the investigation.
