Police investigate Sunday night stabbing

Follow The Republic:

Investigators are unclear about what happened during a Sunday night stabbing incident at a north side mobile home park, police said.

A 28-year-old male who was stabbed in the upper back during the 10:40 p.m. incident in Candlelight Village was treated and released from Columbus Regional Hospital, police spokesman Lt. Matt Myers said.

According to the victim, he encountered three unknown male subjects who were standing in a yard as he was walking up to a relative's home in the 3800 blk of Longshore Drive, Myers said.

The victim claimed that after the three males attacked him, he was stabbed during the assault.
