Edinburgh police are looking for information about a suspicious pick-up fire that happened early Thursday morning.
Multiple people called about the fire, which happened at 3:43 a.m. at 409 E. Main Cross St. Callers said they heard loud bangs and saw a fireball, Edinburgh Police Chief David Mann said.
Firefighters put the flames out, and investigators found the cab of the truck was expanded like an explosion happened inside, Mann said.
Samples taken from inside the vehicle were sent to laboratories to help find the cause, Mann said.
Anyone who has information about the fire, such as a vehicle seen leaving the area around the time the fire happened, is asked to call the police department at 812-526-2636.
