Police searching for missing North Vernon man

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County authorities are searching for a missing 41-year-old North Vernon man who suffers from a medical condition that might have left him immobilized.
Police said that Robert Allen Waterman was last seen riding a silver bicycle in the Oak Meadows Apartment complex in North Vernon at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Waterman is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds and having red hair with gray mixed in. He was last seen wearing black shorts, brown hiking boots and a T-shirt.
The missing man suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis. Waterman is known to suffer severe side effects from not taking his medicine, which includes his body becoming immobilized.
