COLUMBUS, Ind. — A new 50,000-square-foot industrial building is planned for Woodside Northwest Industrial Park near the I-65 Walesboro exit.
There are no tenants yet, but having a shell building that prospective users can see will benefit companies in a hurry to find space, said Jason Hester, executive director of the Columbus Economic Development Board. Hester said the building, as proposed, would be expandable up to 200,000 square feet. The project is being developed locally by Force Holdings, LLC.
If approved by the Columbus City Council, a tax abatement is expected to spur the construction of a $2 million industrial shell building in the Woodside Northwest Industrial Park.
