The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbus has begun a discussion series, “Reproductive Justice: Expanding Our Social Justice Calling,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sundays through Feb. 23 at the church, 7850 W. Goeller Boulevard.
Organizers have said it is one way to honor and respect the rights and choices of women regarding sexuality and reproduction. The discussions also are part of a current national Unitarian Universalist movement to highlight such topics and to educate others.
Remaining sessions are:
Sunday: Sacred Sexuality
Feb. 2: Inherent Worth and Dignity
Feb. 9: Reverence for Life
Feb. 16: Right of Conscience
Feb. 23: Moving Forward
Subjects to be covered include abortion rights and access, sexual orientation discrimination, eradication of violence against women and other topics.
