Investigators believe the same person used rolled coins to scam at least four local businesses along Jonathan Moore Pike on Columbus' west side.
In each case, a cashier at a restaurant or convenience store received payment in the form of coins in a paper wrapper to pay for food or merchandise, Columbus Police Department spokesman Lt. Matt Myers said.
