SIHO Insurance Services is holding a fundraiser for the United Way from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in front of the company’s office building at 417 Washington St.
Several parking spots in front of the building will be blocked off for music, exercise and other special events.
A quintet of SIHO employees, dubbed “champions” for the day, will perform various exercises to raise money by getting community sponsors to donate a dime for each minute of an employee running in place or spinning a hula-hoop around their waist. Other employees will jump rope or do jumping jacks, also earning 10 cents per jump from sponsors.
