Follow The Republic:

HOPE — An agriculture teacher’s plan to step down from her position at Hauser Jr./Sr. High School is prompting the Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp. Board to consider her replacement.

The board accepted the resignation of two-year teacher Sara Rapp during a previous meeting, Superintendent Kathy Griffey said.

During a public meeting at 5:15 p.m. today, the board will vote whether to begin the formal search for her replacement.

Griffey said Rapp will teach science starting next school year at Central Middle
