No injuries were reported after a Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. bus and a car collided at 250E and 100S at about 3:25 p.m. today.
There were 52 students, ranging from Columbus East High School students, and middle and elementary school students on the bus when the accident occurred, but there were no injuries, Dave Thompson, Columbus Township Fire and Rescue spokesman said.
A substitute bus and driver took the students from the scene to their homes as the accident scene was cleared.
Thompson said a northbound car on 250E pulled out at the intersection and hit the side of the bus, running into a storage compartment under the bus.
The driver was not injured although the car was heavily damaged, Thompson said.
