Key Club Indiana District; Interact Club; National Honor Society; National Art Honor Society; Dream It Do It; C4 Student Advisory Team; Rube Goldberg Engineering Team; East High School/Central Middle School peer mentoring; Minds on Math; lector, altar server, advocacy commission, day group and various commissions at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church; volleyball coach at St. Bartholomew Catholic School; Ceraland indoor and outdoor volleyball; various service projects throughout the school, church and community.

Q: When you’re not in school, where’s your favorite place to be and why? I enjoy spending time with loved ones, serving the community, playing volleyball and shopping.

Q: What has been your greatest high school memory so far and why? One of them is winning the Boiler Tech Challenge with my engineering class my sophomore year because we grew as a class by working together while creating interesting products that expressed ourselves.

Q: What are you looking forward to after graduation? I look forward to attending a well-known university to study mechanical engineering and possibly proceed to law school to become a patent lawyer.

I also look forward to meeting new people, enjoying my college years, growing as an individual and tackling new challenges.

Q: If you were putting together a time capsule about this time in your life, what one thing would you have to include and why? I would have to include a wooden Mary statue that was given to me as a confirmation gift my junior year. It shows my devotion to Mary as well as the importance of faith in my life. My faith pulls me through any difficult situation and provides me with a sense of comfort and hope.

Q: Who in your life has inspired you, or whom do you look up to and why? My mom is a wonderful role model, and I have looked up to her since I was a little girl. She is the kind of person who always has a smile on her face and sees the positive side of every situation. She cares for her family and friends while putting a great deal of time and effort to help the community and those in need. Helping me grow in faith and encouraging me to pursue my dreams is one of her top priorities. She gives me the confidence to push myself and the belief that I should be proud of the girl I am as well as my many accomplishments. In addition, she keeps me laughing, gives me the warmest hugs and is an amazing shopping partner. I am so blessed to have her as a role model, mother and friend in my life.
