Q: Who are your parents/guardians, grandparents and siblings? Parents Doug Jr. and Gena Finney; grandparents Doug and Gayle Finney and Richard and Carol Whitlow; brother Kyle Finney.
Q: What elementary and middle school did you attend? Rockcreek Elementary and Northside Middle School.
Q: What’s your favorite class or part of the school day and why? My favorite class this year is AP Psychology, because I am very interested in the connection between the body and the mind.
Q: In which extracurricular activities, including music, sports or clubs, do you participate? President of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Art Honor Society, International Thespian Society, East Drama Club, Walking Club.
Q: When you’re not in school, where’s your favorite place to be and why? Outside spending time with my friends, because we always find creative things to do.
Q: What has been your greatest high school memory so far and why? Making a parody movie for English class with my friends. We had a great time and had something to show for it.
Q: What are you looking forward to after graduation? Attending Indiana University with a major in biology. My goal is to become a physician.
Q: Who in your life has inspired you, or whom do you look up to and why? My greatest role model would have to be Abraham Lincoln. Besides being one of our nation’s greatest leaders, he also held high moral values and was kind to everyone. These are characteristics that I strive to have, as well.
Q: What is the most important thing you’ve learned during, or from, high school? It is important to work hard to accomplish goals but also important to spend time making memories with family and friends.
