The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information about a string of recent burglaries deputies believe to be connected.

The four break-ins have occurred in southern Bartholomew County in recent weeks. The burglars are believed to have kicked in doors to gain access to homes and to steal firearms, jewelry, electronics and prescription medication.

“We are asking residents to be vigilant and observant of their surroundings,” sheriff’s office spokesperson Maj. Todd Noblitt said. “If you see something in the neighborhood that looks suspicious, contact law enforcement.”

Anyone with information on the burglaries is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 379-1689.
