“It is easy to be blind to the commonplace, to what you see every day,” writes Tom Ang in his book The Tao of Photography.” An image can be extracted from any blade of grass you step on.” It was with this message in mind these pictures were created, found in the photographer’s own backyard. Dramatically lit, an unseen kingdom of color and symmetry is exposed in the mundane.
