Sneakers at Starlight gala moved indoors for weather

Tonight’s Sneakers at Starlight, a gala to benefit the People Trail Project, has been moved from Mill Race Park to The Commons due to expected inclement weather.
The black-tie optional gala, which runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m., will feature beer and wine tastings from Simmons Winery and its new operation, 450N Brewing Company; complimentary hors d’oeuvres from area restaurants and caterers; and an interactive trivia game using Droid tablets provided by Verizon Wireless.
Attendees are encouraged to wear a decorated pair of tennis shoes, and those with the best-decorated pair will win a Droid Xyboard tablet and a lighted carriage ride around downtown Columbus.
Tickets are available at the door for $100 per person or $175 per couple ($75 per person and $125 per couple if a Friend of the People Trail or employee of sponsoring business.) For information: 376-2680, columbuspark
