Snow plow backs into, injures Hope woman

A Hope woman was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital this morning after she was struck by a plow truck.

Jenny Compton, 58, of 171 Hauser Court was walking across the parking lot in front of Snappy Tomato Pizza on State Road 9, north of the Hope Town Square Park, when she was struck shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to her husband, Clyde Compton.

He explained that his wife was taking empty boxes to a dumpster when the snow plow backed up and accidentally struck her.

Jenny Compton sustained serious cuts and bruises to her left leg, according to her husband.
