Sorority elects new officers

The Alpha Xi chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority has elected new officers.

They are president, Jacque Harcourt of Brownstown; vice president, Teresa Heitman of Columbus; treasurer, Diana Biddle of Columbus; secretary, Freida Crawford of Columbus; organizer, Wanda Bray of Columbus; historian, Sara Walden of Columbus; and editor, Molly Barr of Taylorsville.

 

Kim Wendel and Pam Wetzel, both of Columbus, have been welcomed as new members.

Sigma Phi Gamma includes women of all ages and circumstances: single, married, widowed and divorced. Some have small children, others have grandchildren or even great-grandchildren. The sorority is united by caring friendship and a dedication to community service, according to a sorority media release.
