GREENCASTLE — Trinity Lutheran’s football team learned why South Putnam is the fifth-ranked team in Class A in Friday’s Sectional 46 game as the host Eagles won 64-0.
This was Trinity’s second year of football but first time playing in the Indiana High School Athletic Association state tournament.
The Cougars finished with a 4-6 record, while the Eagles improved to 9-1 and advance to play West Washington, a 21-12 winner against South Decatur on Friday.
