A free Southern gospel concert will begin at noon today at Mill Race Park.
The second J.C. Brown Day will feature Wilburn & Wilburn, the Singing Sands, the Smith Family, The Fields Family and Right Spirit.
The event will include food and children’s activities. The day is named in honor of former touring gospel singer J.C. Brown, the late Columbus resident who founded Gospel Music Week here and promoted it on area radio stations with his show, “Hallelujah Turnpike.”
