Gabby Sims, Columbus North: The Republic’s Athlete of the Year for Girls Track, Sims was third in the 400 at the state finals and won conference, sectional and regional titles in the event.
Mackenzie Caldwell, Columbus North: Sophomore won Conference Indiana, sectional and regional titles in 3,200; finished sixth at state in 3,200, 10th in 3,200 relay.
Erin Mack, Columbus East: Sophomore won Hoosier Hills Conference and sectional titles in high jump; finished second in regional; tied for 11th at state.
Keri Ertel, Jennings County: Freshman won HHC and sectional titles in 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles; finished second in regional, 17th at state in 100 hurdles.
Chelsea Wieland, Columbus North: Junior finished third in regional, tied for 19th at state in pole vault.
Emily Brady, Brown County: Freshman finished second in regional, tied for 19th at state in pole vault.
Maggie Royalty, Seymour: Senior was regional champ in 200; finished 20th in long jump, 26th in 200 at state.
Caryn Wolfe, Columbus North: Junior finished third in regional, 33rd at state in 3,200.
Rachael Sollman, Columbus North: Junior was Conference Indiana champ in 800; finished 10th at state in 3,200 relay.
Malissa Hofmeister, Columbus North: Junior finished 10th at state in 3,200 relay; ran on regional-qualifying 1,600 and 400 relay teams.
Macey Thornburg, Columbus North: Senior ran on sectional champion, regional runner-up 3,200 relay team.
Laurel Wolfe, Columbus North: Senior finished 10th in regional in 1,600; ran on sectional champion 3,200 relay team.
Kaci Tompkins, Columbus North: Junior finished fourth in 200, ninth in 100 at regional; ran on regional qualifying 400 relay team.
Sarah Loesch, Columbus East: Sophomore was sectional champ in discus; finished fourth in discus, fifth in shot put at regional.
Teresa Wiczynski, Columbus East: Senior was HHC champ in 1,600; finished eighth in 1,600, 10th in 800 at regional.
