Columbus North senior football player Jamaal Halliburton
(Rushed for 292 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-17 victory against Perry Meridian on Friday. It was the second-best rushing performance in school history to Kobi Cook’s 342 yards against Columbus East in 2010.)
His performance last week:
“I thought I did things better, but I have to give credit to my offensive line and my H-back (Jonathan Byers).”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“I just listen to my music. And I try to keep everybody uplifted.”

“I would like to go to the Final Four this season or farther.”

“Australia. It is beautiful and warm, and the wildlife. And it would be a chance to get away from home.”

Columbus North sophomore golfer Sydney Anderson
(Carded rounds of 77 and 74 at The Legends Golf Club to finish in a tie for 11th in the IHSAA state finals)

“I’m happy with it. Honestly, I didn’t expect to do that well because I was nervous, and it was my first time, but I was happy.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“I listen to music before I go, but when I was at state, it was really neat because they had music playing on the range.”
