Hauser sophomore basketball player Rory Thayer
Thayer scored 17 points in Hauser’s first win of the season, an 82-77 victory against Jac-Cen-Del on Saturday.
His performance last week:
“It just felt good to contribute to finally getting that first win that we’ve been working day-in and day-out to get. I guess I had a good game, but the credit has to go to my teammates for their screens and for the passes that came from them when I was open.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“In the locker room, I like to be crazy and energetic. I like to play the stereo loud and crazy. I like to get jacked up for the game.”

Trinity Lutheran junior basketball player Allison Posey
Posey scored a combined 38 points in wins over Springs Valley, Medora and West Washington to lead the Cougars to a sectional title.
Her performance last week:
“I started out a little bit rough playing Springs Valley, and that kind of hurt my confidence a little bit, but I went into Medora with a good attitude. I started to get into things against West Washington.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“I always go to Taco Bell before every game with some of my teammates, and I listen to pump-up music to get myself ready.”
