NORTH VERNON, Ind. — A citizen tip about strong chemical smell coming from an open window of an apartment in the 400 block of Greensburg Street resulted in two arrests over the weekend.
North Vernon police Detective Jeff Day and officer Matt Staples approached the open window at 4 p.m. Saturday and could paraphernalia and an item used to manufacture methamphetamine, according to a police department press release.
Arrested were Brandon K. Horton, 18, and Brayton M.S. Eder, 18, both of North Vernon. They were arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine (a Class A felony), possession of methamphetamine (Class B felony), possession of a syringe (a Class D felony) and possession of paraphernalia (a Class A misdemeanor).
