From help for those struggling with divorce to those facing financial pressures, Tuesday Connection has been a lifeline to many.
The free, informal support group program, among the largest locally, will meet weekly from 6:30 to 8 p.m. beginning Aug. 27 at Community Church of Columbus, 3850 N. Marr Road.
But attendees come from a range of area churches, or no church at all.
A free meal is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Topics for the 12-week fall session include:
Love and respect (marriage enrichment)
DivorceCare, for those dealing with a marital split and its fallout
Griefshare, for those who have lost a loved one
English as a second language
Financial Peace University
Single and parenting
33: Man and His Work, for men only
Friends Journey, for women only
Celebrate Recovery, for those battling addictions or any harmful habits or hurts
Insight, for those who have a loved one who is battling an addiction
The Living, for teen males
Life Hurts, God Heals, for teen girls
DC4K (Divorce Care for Kids), for children in Grades 3 through 6 whose parents are separated or have divorced
Inside Out, various groups for children ages 4 through sixth grade
Child care is available for children from newborns to those up to age 3.
