COLUMBUS, Ind. — The property housing a Walgreens drug store on Columbus' west side has sold for $6,554,621.
The price for the 3.03-acre site at 2140 W. Jonathan Moore Pike was more than $2.1 million an acre when it sold Jan. 31.
Walgreens, the nation's largest drug-retailing chain headquartered in Deerfield, Ill., built the 14,792-square-foot store after signing a 75-year lease in June 2007 with SR 46 Holdings LLC, an Indianapolis firm that was dissolved in 2009.
