The first Montana Walk and Silent Auction will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at World of Pentecost Church, 3939 Central Ave. The event is named after Montana Summer Rose, who died in December 2011.

The fundraiser will benefit 11-year-old Bella Staten, who suffers from Retts Syndrome and needs a wheelchair-accessible van.

Retts is a disorder of the nervous system that leads to developmental reversals, especially in the areas of expressive language and hand use.

Registration will be $16 to participate in a silent auction beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Auction items include rounds of golf, gym memberships, sports tickets and related items. The walk begins at 10 a.m., and registration for that is also $16.

The event also will feature a bounce house for children and food available for purchase.

Information: Sonya Rose at 350-0492.
