Water main repair, boil order affect some Bartholomew County residents

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Some customers of Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. will be without water this afternoon because of a water main repair on County Roads 225S and 550W.
Water should be restored by 3 p.m. Customers on County Road 550W between Youth Camp Road and County Road 300S, County Road 300S east of County Roads 550W to 400W and County Roads 225S, 250S and 275S will be affected by the outage and a boil water advisory.
The boil water advisory will be in effect for those customers until 1 p.m. Saturday. Water should be brought to a full boil for five minutes and cool before drinking or use in food preparation.
