Ramp restrictions continue this weekend at the Interstate 65 and State Road 46 interchange, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The northbound I-65 entrance ramp from State Road 46 will be closed from 7 p.m. today until noon Monday. The right lane of northbound I-65 through the Columbus interchange also will be closed.
A 45 mph speed limit will be enforced through the work zone.
American Contracting of Jeffersonville is the state’s contractor for this $1,439,736 pavement restoration project on the interstate between County Road 100N and Carr Hill Road, which includes ramp repairs at the State Road 46 interchange. Work includes a significant number of full-depth concrete patches and other pavement restoration measures.
INDOT officials anticipate traffic delays for motorists traveling north on I-65. They suggest U.S. 31 between Seymour and the Taylorsville as an alternate route.
