Here are a few stories we’re working on in the news-room:

—A local gluten-free bakery business that’s found customers at the Saturday Farmers’ Markets.

— State Sen. Greg Walker, R-Columbus, plans to file in the next legislative session a bill that would prohibit state agencies from entering into contracts or grants with Planned Parenthood of Indiana. Senate Bill 198 also would cancel current funding to the agency.

— Columbus East High School band camp: hot music, hot weather.

— Amid continuing 90-degree days, who’s checking on older seniors?

— The Columbus Board of Works’ morning meeting and budget hearings that began at 10 a.m. 
