OCCUPATION: Receptionist for doctor in Greenwood
WHY I RUN: I’ve finished more than a dozen 5K events in the past few years, but I was ready for a new challenge. I’m also still trying to lose those few last pounds of baby weight. By racing in the Mill Race Half Marathon, I can challenge myself by following a training program and force myself to only eat clean and healthy foods. I run in the morning mostly, so it’s a nice way to get a mental head start on my day and head into the office free of stress.
