WHY I RUN: I’m training for the SIHO 5K right now because of a hip injury, but I’m considering the half-marathon. I run because it’s my kind of stress relief. I just enjoy getting out and enjoying the camaraderie of other runners, even if you don’t talk. Right now we’re doing 3 miles of power walking in the morning to beat the heat, and that will lead into the run.
