A full-day symposium designed for women interested in nonprofit leadership roles will be conducted Sept. 25 in Columbus.
Sponsored by the Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network, the day introduces 10 speakers, presenting 11 sessions exploring the topics of professional and personal development, leadership and management skills and women in philanthropy.
The keynote speaker, Jan Phillips, will highlight the Three Steps to Visionary Leadership from her award winning book, “The Art of Original Thinking — The Making of a Thought Leader.” All participants will receive a copy of Phillips’ book.
The symposium will be from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, 2480 Jonathan Moore Pike. Registration, including a continental breakfast, lunch and materials, is $79 and is open to the public. Registration for United Way staff and members of United Way boards of directors is $49.
