Ronnie and Carolyn Pruitt of South Sprague Road celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday with their family.
Mr. Pruitt and the former Carolyn Bidwell were married Aug. 17, 1962, at Ogilville Christian Church by Pastor Ross Wallace.
Mr. Pruitt is a retired self-employed carpenter and excavator.
Mrs. Pruitt retired after 14 years with Brown and Bartholomew school corporations.
The couple have three children, Donnie (Naomi) Pruitt, Betsy (Greg) Hundley and Tonya (William) Newman, all of Columbus. They also have 10 grandchildren.
