Richard A. and Henrietta S. Weddle of Elizabethtown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren at 12:30 p.m. today at the couple’s home, 10675 S. County Road 500E, Elizabethtown.
Mr. Weddle and the former Henrietta Williams were married Aug. 26, 1962, at Providence Christian Church by the Rev. Rolland Hill.
Mr. Weddle retired from Rockwell Automation and Mrs. Weddle retired from Bartholomew County Area Agency on Aging.
The couple have two children, David E. Weddle of Elizabethtown and Brenda M. Pollert of Columbus. They also have two grandcchildren.
