Derrick Chitwood and Karen Pruitt were married June 23, 2012, in a 2 p.m. ceremony conducted by Father Clem Davis at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
A reception followed at Factory 12 Event Loft. The couple reside on 22nd Street.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Barb Pruitt of East Longview Court. She is a phlebotomist at Columbus Regional Hospital.
The groom is the son of Janie Graves of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Kenneth Chitwood of Lancaster, Pa. He is employed by Timberline Restoration and Columbus Regional Hospital.
Sydnie Garber of Columbus was maid of honor, Amy Conatser, Tori Anderson and Kristen Mellis, all of Columbus, were bridesmaids, and Grace Ellis of Columbus was junior bridesmaid. Kate Ellis of Columbus and Berkeley Lord of Fortville were flower girls.
Joe Seabourn and Brad White, both of Panama City Beach, were best men. Jarrad Mullis of Columbus and Jordan Chitwood of Fort Payne, Ala., were groomsmen and Sam Ellis of Columbus was junior groomsman. Layton Seabourn of Panama City Beach was ring bearer.
