Karen Pruitt and Derrick Chitwood, both of Columbus, announce their engagement.
Ms. Pruitt is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Pruitt of Longview Court. She is a phlebotomist at Columbus Regional Hospital, a 2008 graduate of Columbus North High School and a 2011 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College.
Mr. Chitwood, the son of Janie Graves of Banama City Beach, Fla., and Kenneth Chitwood of Lancaster, Fla., is employed by Timberline Restoration. He is a 2008 graduate of Liberty County High School in Florida and is a student at Ivy Tech Community College.
The wedding will be at 2 p.m. June 23 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
