Melinda C. Berdahl Perdue, 39 of Joseph Cox Court, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her home.
Melinda enjoyed gardening, traveling and singing.
Her greatest joy was her children.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
Following the service, cremation will take place.

She was born in Orlando, Fla. on February 24, 1973, the daughter of Jeffrey W. and Kathy C. Creason Berdahl.
Survivors include her parents, Jeffrey and Kathy Berdahl of Orlando, Fla.; daughters, Marissa Furkin and Sarah F. Perdue, both of Columbus; step-children, Andrea Furkin of Columbus, Dustin Perdue of Hayden, Derrick Perdue and Katrina Perdue, both of Seymour; grandmothers, Kathleen Creason and Susie Berdahl, both of Orlando; and grandchildren, Haley Fields, Hunter Otte and Austin Perdue.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sarah Horn; and a brother, Brian Berdahl.
Melinda you were loved more than you know, you will always be missed.
