Catherine A. "Cathe" Casperson, 68, of Countryside Lane, died at 11:04 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Catherine was a certified credentials specialist at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was a member of Columbus Herb Club, completed certification to become a Master Gardener and played Bunco monthly with her friends.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

The daughter of Richard Thor Pawlowski and Anna Rita Stemley Pawlowski, Catherine was born July 19, 1944, in Arkansas, but grew up in Michigan.
She is survived by daughters, Anne Genevieve (Jason) Spicer, Greenwood, IN, and Nicole Catherine Casperson, Columbus; a brother, Richard Pawlowski, Waterford, MI; a sister, Margaret (Michael) Brannigan, West Bloomfied, MI; and grandchildren, Connor and Grayson Spicer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael Pawlowski; and a sister, Lori Shorter.
