Alberta “June “ Bryan, 81, of Nashville, passed away August 30, 2012, in Nashville.

The daughter of Albert Louis and Isadora (Demaree) Kemp, June was born in Indianapolis on June 4, 1931. She was a graduate of Nashville High School, a homemaker, a gifted artist and musician. She was also a longtime member of North Salem United Methodist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, as well as churches countywide. A few of her community involvements include Brown County Dulcimer Society, a lifetime member of Brown County Art Gallery and the Community Closet.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Revs. Richard Halladay and Dan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, September 3, from 4 to 8 p.m.

June  and her husband Bill were married 63 years. She was the loving mother of Karen Gail Jackson and Jennifer L. (Garry) Lutes of Nashville, Christopher Duane (Carolyn) Bryan, Nashville, and Jonathan R. (Diana) Bryan of New Castle, CA; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her brother, Raymond (Joan) Kemp, lives in Sebastian, FL.

June was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Louis Kemp, and son, Steven D. Bryan.
