Kevin Lee Buckley, 51, of Lafayette, died Friday, August 31, 2012.
He was born June 27, 1961, the son of Wilma Jean and Fred Buckley.
Kevin was a 1979 graduate of Columbus East High School and served in the Marines from 1979 to 1985.
He was an avid fan of IU basketball and Colts football. He loved a good joke and had a quick wit. Kevin enjoyed times spent with his cousins, Sabrina Jackson, Michelle Hoover and Todd Stover; and his favorite aunt, Carolyn.
Kevin is survived by his wife, JoAnne Buckley; daughters, Katie and April Buckley; a sister, Teresa Chapman; a brother, Mark Buckley; step-children, Sally Brogan and Ted Carroll; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tyler and Sean; and step-grandchildren, Grace, Ben, Kylie, William and Daytona.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy; a nephew, John Warren Buckley; and grandparents, John A. Warren and Flora E. Warren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at Scipio United Methodist Church. Pastor Mona Safley will officiate.
