Terry Wayne Kellams, 62, of Edinburgh, died at 12:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 20, 1950, in Columbus.
He was the former commander of Edinburgh Sons of the American Legion. He was a member of the Edinburgh Masonic Lodge No. 100 and the Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite.
He also was a retired employee of the town of Edinburgh, and was an avid sports fan, especially of IU basketball, Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame football, He enjoyed reading, hunting and spending time at the cabin.
Survivors include his wife, Betty (Howard) Kellams; daughters Kylei (Nathan) Kellams-Poff of Greenwood; Ashlei Kellams of Edinburgh; Kim Caldwell of Edinburgh; Anita (Shane) Hancock of Edinburgh; and grandchildren Elijah and Braxton Poff, David Earles and Callie and Chloe Hancock.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Leann Kellams; a brother, Steve Kellams; and a nephew, Tony Coatworth.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton presiding. Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with a Masonic memorial service at 7 p.m.
