Linda Rose Abbott, 70, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Covered Bridge Health Care Campus.
She was born in Marlowe, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Frank and Ivory Black Caudill.
On March 18, 1962, Linda married the love of her life, Charles Eugene "Charlie" Abbott.
She was a member of Mountain Baptist Church of Seymour. Linda graduated from beauty school in 1975 and retired as a beautician in 2007.
She always had so much love for her family, and would never miss a family gathering. Some of her hobbies included making crafts, floristry and bowling.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Charlie; a son, William Vernon (Diane) Abbott; grandchildren, Heather R. (Eric) Chase, and Brittany A. (Travis) Findley; great-grandchildren; Blayke chase and Madison Findley; a sister, Judy (Van) Breeding; brothers, Danny L. (Gail) Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Van Breeding officiating.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Burial will follow at Reddington Cemetery with a Voss Dove release.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Baptist Church, Reddington Cemetery Association or Covered Bridge Health Care activities fund.
