Jean Ann Patrick, 75, of Central Avenue, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Jean Ann retired from Standard Grocery Store. She loved cooking and had a collection of 10,000 cookbooks.
There will be no calling. Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Vernon Cemetery with Chaplain Jeff Boriss officiating.

Born in Shelbyville April 23, 1937, Mrs. Patrick was the daughter of Howard Stewart and Freida Miner Stewart. She married Bobby Patrick Oct. 31, 1976. He preceded her in death March 4, 2010.
Survivors include a son, Denby Brown, Columbus, IN; daughters, Debbie Hanson, Gilbert, AZ, and Brenda Overshiner, Knoxville, TN; stepdaughters, Kimberly (Mark) Schoettmer, Columbus, IN, and Karen Patrick, Bedford, IN; grandchildren, Sandi Brown, Knoxville, TN, Nathan Overshiner, Knoxville, TN, Amanda (Christopher) Pritchard, Indianapolis, IN, and Athena Brown, Indianapolis, IN; stepgrandchildren, Gabriel Schoettmer, Jacob Schoettmer and Elizabeth Schoettmer, all of Indianapolis, IN, and Jessica (Nick) Curd, Greensburg, IN; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
