Donald Lee Jeffries, 63, of Elizabethtown, died at 1:37 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Jeffries worked at Cummins Engine Company for 20 years, Valeo Sylvania in Seymour and most recently at S&R Resources.
He attended church regularly, he loved his family and collected toys.
He had a passion for all types of cars and he enjoyed racing.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with John Smith officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.
In keeping with Mr. Jeffries' wishes, cremation will take place following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Born in Mitchell May 6, 1949, Mr. Jeffries was the son of Raymond and Nettie Redman Jeffries. He married Patsy Dillingham November 18, 1972.
Survivors include his wife; his father of Columbus; children, Charlie Jeffries of Seymour and Crystal (Jeron) Wilber and Jennifer (Anthony) Wright, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Steven and Joshua Barnes, Charles Jeffries Jr., Noah Wilber and Emma Grace Wright; brothers, Bobby, James, Kevin and David Jeffries, all of Columbus, and Marvin Jeffries of Missouri; sisters, Susie of Muncie, Rosemary and Jackie, both of Franklin, and Nancy, Betty and Juanita, all of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jeffries was preceded in death by his mother and brothers, Raymond Jeffries Jr. and Frank Jeffries.
