Euldean Mae “Dolly” Kipper, 97, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:10 p.m. September 11, 2012, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Jonathan Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Born May 17, 1915, in Queensville, IN, Mrs. Kipper was the daughter of the late George and Fannie Schulyer Cooper. She graduated from Scipio High School in 1934, and married Francis Kipper on September 4, 1943. She preceded him in death on August 23, 1999.

Mrs. Kipper was a homemaker. Many years ago she had worked at Seymour Shirt Factory. She was a very giving person, who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, exhibiting at the Jennings County Fair, playing Euchre, watching birds and spending time with family.

Survivors include two sons, Joe (Vicki) Kipper and Dennis (Judy) Kipper, both of North Vernon; two daughters, Peggy (Tracy) Martin of North Vernon, and Debbie Siefker of Seymour; one sister, Mardonna Wheeldon of North Vernon; nine grandchildren, Troy, Eric and Craig Kipper, Tricia Skinner, Traci Lynn Ashley, Grant Siefker, Heidi Kellermeier, Justin Martin and Heather Lucas; and six great-grandchildren, Lexi, Alex and Owen Kipper, Cole Skinner, Morgan and Holden Siefker.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Kipper was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Lloyd and Walter Cooper; two sisters, Cleonia Robbins and Evelyn Brown; and son-in-law, Michael Siefker.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Jennings County.
