Nancy C. Mowery, 71, of Columbus, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Bedford, July 8, 1941, the daughter of Herschel and Virginia Mae Roberts Massey.
She married Robert "Bob" Mowery November 1, 1963 in Columbus. He survives.
Nancy had worked for Saps Bakery in the accounting department. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by a daughter, Kristi Mowery of Columbus; a son, Michael (Christy) Mowery of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Amanda (Nick) Jones of Columbus, Hannah Mowery of Columbus, and Brooke and Taylor Mowery, both of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Ron Bridgewater officiating. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
