Sye O Mott Jr., 72, of Franklin, passed away Sept. 9, 2012, at Franklin Meadows.
He was born July 4, 1940 in Lebanon, Missouri, to the late Sye and Pearl (Jones) Mott. He married Mary (Chestnut) Mott of April 7, 1972, she preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2009.
Survivors include a sister, Oriean Halbert of Billings, Mo. and Eldra Sarten of Grand Junction, Colo.; a sister -in-law, Isabella Hutchison of Bloomington and friend and care giver, Trudy L. Jones of Franklin.
He attended Southland Community Church in Greenwood and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary;, and three brothers, Leo, Don and Hal Mott.
Services are private.
Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling the arrangements.
