Seymour
Oliver Smith, 101, of Seymour, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at Covered Bridge Health Campus.
He is survived by his children, Carol Ruth Talieferro, Ervin (Shirley) Smith, Myron L. (Berniece) Smith, Stephen R. (Elsie) Smith; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell V. Starr Smith.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Larry Tingle officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Seymour.
