Junior Lee Huckaby, 80, of Jonesville Road, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room.
Mr. Huckaby formerly worked at Hamilton-Cosco and was the retired owner of Huckaby's Auto Electric on Jonesville Road.
He enjoyed building things and always found time to tinker.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Charles Kennedy officiating.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Born in Adair County, Kentucky, November 23, 1931, Mr. Huckaby was the son of Lewis S. and Edna Allen Huckaby. He married Hallie M. Coryell March 13, 1954.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years; sons, Donald (Kristy) Huckaby, Allen (Sherry) Huckaby and Gary Huckaby, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Tyler Huckaby, Jordache Barnes and Levi Eagleton; great-grandchildren, Nathan Eagleton and Kaydence Barnes; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Huckaby was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Verda Martin; and brothers, Ernest, Arthur, Olen, Gordon and Malcolm Huckaby.
